Gourmet Candy Apples

When is a candy apple not just a candy apple? When it is a Mrs. Prindable’s Gourmet Apple. Just think of it. A tasty, luscious apple wonderful in itself, extra fancy and delivered fresh from the orchard, is at the heart of every creation. Then each is smothered in their famous buttery homemade caramel and  hand decorated with premium chocolate and gourmet toppings. Mrs. Prindable’s is well-known for these delectable creations and  these and other incarnations are available in stunning gift baskets for the holidays or other occasions—such as birthdays.

These are not the humble candy apples that can be devoured in a few bites. The way to approach this delightful confection is to slice through to the apple and then just enjoy, slowly.

An apple a day? Perhaps just a piece. This is a delicious treat meant for sharing.

Pirate's Booty

Here are some delightful and not too filling snacks. Pirate's Booty, an all- natural, lightly crunchy snack is now found in more locations with some new flavors--Bermuda Onion, Sea Salt and if you hanker for something sweet to crunch—caramel.

The Bermuda Onion and Sea Salt have about 120 calories per serving—(the caramel has 120). Pirate’s Booty is made from puffed rice and corn and are baked, not fried. Very tasty, indeed.
