Here are six sauces from Stonehouse 27 that have been simmered to perfection and waiting to enhance and amplify any number of dishes:
Tamarind and Garlic, mild with tomato and spices; Cilantro & Coconut, mild, with fresh herbs and lemon; Tomato and Chilies, medium, with warming spices and agave; Dates and Tamarind, hot and sweet, with roasted spices and chilies; Cashews and Cream (Mild) with garlic and aromatic spices and Cashews and Cream (Hot) with garlic and aromatic spices.
Stonehouse 27 states that “…each unique Indian cooking sauce creation is a labor of love capturing the flavors and authenticity of Portuguese and Anglo influenced Indian cuisine with Indian cooking techniques. The end result is a sophisticated blend of rich spices and premium ingredients in a quick and easy to prepare homestyle cooking sauce...”
We agree. The great thing about these sauces is, not only are they versatile—you can use them to flavor and bind tofu, vegetables, rice, seafood or meat—you can get away with using about a third of a jar at a time—perhaps half a jar if you want a dish that has more sauce. If you want a very “wet” dish then use the whole jar. But no matter how much you use, the flavor of each will make a lasting impression on your palate.
Visit their website and for a time there is free shipping on 3 or more jars. (Perfect additions to holiday gift baskets.)
I see this just was published--I gotta try these..they look extremely delicious!
