Pasta Perfection

Here are four of the most delicious tasting pockets of pure pleasure you will ever put your fork into. Do not even think about covering them up with sauce. A dribble of olive oil, perhaps some black pepper and these Buitoni ‘ s new Riserva line of pasta: Chicken & Four Cheese Ravioli, Spicy Beef & Sausage Ravioli, Quattro Formaggi Agnolotti, and Wild Mushroom Agnolotti are perfect as is.

All four varieties are very tasty but the Spicy Beef & Sausage Ravioli and the Wild Mushroom Agnolotti are especially singular. (Agnolotti pasta are kind of a half moon circle. Instead of taking two layers of pasta dough, adding filling and then cutting them all around to produce square ravioli, agnolotti are simply folded over.) Just cook in rapidly boiling water for 4 to 6 minutes, drain, add perhaps some light seasoning—nothing that will cover the delights tucked inside the pasta pouches and enjoy.

Available in the grocer’s refrigerated section, they can be refrigerated at home or frozen for longer

periods—but they probably will be eaten long before you can freeze them. Pasta squisita!

  2. I am going to buy one of each to try them. I like the idea they don't need sauce. Thanks!
